Work privately seeing clients on a range of issues including stress, grief, loss, depression, self-harm, relationship issues, self-esteem, phobias, anxiety, panic attacks, abuse, issues from the past, self-defeating behaviours, healthy eating/weightloss/better lifestyle, quitting smoking. Work eclectically choosing person centred counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychoanalysis and Goal Therapy. All sessions are client led. Sessions are confidential and I work to build a trusting, therapeutic environment in which the client and I feel safe to work. All hypnotherapy plans are agreed with client and could be one session, or a few, depending on client's needs; these can be used as part of the psychotherapy or have a stronger focus on the hypnotherapy; all sessions have an element of counselling to ensure the client's needs are understood.

I worked in a small team of 3 setting up the Poll Station, ensuring signs were correctly displayed, as per the guidelines, and checked these at regular intervals. The role included greeting voters and helping them understand the voting process and what they needed to do. However, the role also required impartiality and also required a good understanding of the Election rules and assisting where there may have been problems. I had to ensure, that in addition to the training I had received, that I had read and understood all the literature sent to me and I was able to administer the voting process correctly and with absolute accuracy. I had to work professionally at all times and it gave me the opportunity to meet many people from the local community; I enjoyed the 'people' element in this role

Working as part of a team to ensure that examination rules are adhered to when the pupils were taking GCSE and A Level examinations. This role required ensuring all candidates had the right materials and were sitting the right exam, the setting up of all examination rooms and de-assembling equipment at the end of the exam, accurate record keeping on pupils, examination timings and examination papers collation. I had to be aware of how the pupils were behaving in the exam and deal with any breach, ill child or any other requirement as they happened. I had to ensure that the pupils were safeguarded and ensure that I remained friendly and hopefully helped them stay calm. I also needed to ensure that I had read and understood all the exam invigilation literature regarding the rules in case of an inspection. I need to be aware of any of the children demonstrating symptoms of stress and be able to deal with these calmly, effectively and professionally.

Temporary casual role helping while area was overloaded with work. Brief description of duties and responsibilities Assisted with H.R. issues and put together packs for new pay to School Support Staff at schools across Medway. In addition, I actioned and distributed all new pay letters for these staff, checking accuracy of all information before distribution. I also helped with some CRB checking. This was only a temporary role and finished due to work being completed.

Worked for Swiss Re within Human Resources in a Generalist role and supporting with Human Resources Administration.

This was a complete generalist role.
