About
I’m a seasoned civil litigator with over 20 years of litigation experience - spanning from criminal defense to real estate distressed debt litigation and most recently to estates, trusts and fiduciary litigation across Western North Carolina. I’m admitted to all federal courts in NC and the 4th Circuit US Court of Appeals. I am also licensed to practice law in KY and TN. I hold a real estate license in NC and I’m a notary public. I am an experienced public speaker and presenter at continuing legal education events and public educational seminars. I have a vast network of professional and community resources across NC. I was recently invited to become a member of the Board of CarePartners of WNC. I’m a passionate advocate for my clients and I view the practice of law as a profession dedicated to the service to others. I uphold the rule of law and seek justice and fairness. Originally from central Ohio, I fell in love with the blue ridge mountains and I am inspired daily by their natural beauty. When I’m not at work, I enjoy nature, hiking, yoga and traveling. I am a proud single mother and dog-mom.
