The Business Advisory Services (BAS) at Catholic Education in Melbourne (CEM) oversees the Commonwealth and State government grant distribution to the Primary and Secondary Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Melbourne. This department also manages the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria Ltd (CECV) funding to each of the four diocese within Victoria. All financial government accountability and reporting. Reports to two Audit and Risk committees, CECV board and the Catholic Capital Grant committee. The BAS is responsible for the Human Resource and Administration functions within CEM. Provides direct support to schools in relation to financial and administration matters. Since June 2015 the Industrial Relations Unit has formed part of my responsibilities with a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement to be achieved during the 2016 year.
