Lecturer, responsible for developing academic reading, writing, speaking and study skills for international students preparing for postgraduate study. The course follows a flipped model, requiring strong online facilitation skills and the ability to identify and respond to student needs through forum discussions, assignments and face-to-face sessions using MS Teams.

Senior Language and Skills Tutor

EAP and study skills teaching for international students, both face-to-face and online. Course and materials development. Module lead for Employability Skills. Exam item writing (Listening, Writing and Reading exams for International Foundation Year and Presessional courses). Teaching: English and Study Skills (ESS) module of the international foundation year (level 4); Short skills courses (academic writing; presentation skills; employability skills) at level 7; Academic skills webinars for international students at levels 6 – 8; Academic support at levels 6 – 8.
