During 4-6 weeks each semester break, I am teaching Latin to university students in intensive courses. Starting from zero, the exam they take afterwards equals the Kleines Latinum.

As a student teaching assistant to the university language centre's Latin course, I offered two additional classes per week complementing the main course. I further attended the main course helping with background tasks.

As a student assistant to my international Bachelor's programme European Studies I helped with organisational tasks like preparing guidelines for the enrolled students (concerning which university courses to choose or how to prepare for France), representing the programme at the university's open day or writing brochure texts. The highlight of this period was unquestionably my organising of the short stay of a group from our twin town Le Mans: finding around 30 German hosts, planning activities, preparing the joint team-teaching etc.

* As an intern with the Department for Innovation, Science and Research, my main tasks laid in * developping weekly reports on current events in the EU that were of interest for the Research Department and the region of NRW, * monitoring diverse expert discussions, political meetings and cultural events, * creating weekly press reviews on EU topics, * assisting with in-house events, * and doing research on China's New Silk Road.

I was actively included in several events of the Historical museum and took care of different jobs in order to ensure a smooth work process. The final high point of my stage was a museum festival which I helped to prepare and to carry out.

During this short-time experience I conducted a wide range of tasks such as preparing inter-library loan, managing the reception or assisting the usual operations that are needed to keep a library going. Besides, I experienced secondary stations which have relevance for the library, for example the internal post station or the IT centre.
