Protect and develop cost savings for all inventory assets on behalf of Saks 5th Avenue, Saks off 5th, and Hudson Bay North America. Conduct extensive research, oversee in-depth audits, analyze trends, and perform root cause analysis. Manage a team of three and support a 13 person organization. Report directly to the VP of Operations and speak with the CEO regularly. • Directly responsible for all loss prevention efforts for an organization that sells over $3.6M in products every single day. • Delivered $3.7M in annual cost savings by overhauling the organization “item not received” process and designed the accompanying standard operating procedures. • Saved over $3M annually by working in tandem with financial institutions to improve the charge back process and reduce fraud. • Became Six Sigma Green Belt certified by delivering engineering new sustainably efforts that greatly reduce the company’s carbon footprint while taking the company from a cost loss to $200K-$300K in new annual profit. • Developed SOPs to investigate shortage for robotics fulfillment KIVA, Case Shuttle and Swisslog. • Planned, executed, and open two 500K+ Sq Feet Warehouses from a security perspective including selecting loss prevention equipment and advising on the warehouse layout. • At the height of the business, managed as many as 5 different facilities, the e-commerce business, and managed a 55 person organization.

Led the strategy for loss prevention at a Sak’s 5th Avenue brick and mortar site. Assessed the stores receiving department protocols and conducted audits to identify process improvements and minimize loss. Leveraged inventory control software to minimize loss. Installed, monitored, and repaired CCTV equipment including DVR and internet systems to improve store safety measures. Investigated cash shortages and missing merchandise reports to identify trends while implementing process improvements. Trained staff in shoplifting & fraud awareness and deterrent training. • Consistently met the store’s loss prevention goals, which maximized store profits. • Established a standard means of detecting, investigating, interviewing, and prosecuting dishonest associates.
