Held multiple senior executive roles across AZAL’s passenger aviation division with key objectives as: • Oversight of day-to-day passenger operations and revenue performance • Network and capacity planning • Strategic partnerships, pricing & revenue management • Representing AZAL at international forums and commercial negotiations Also served as Assistant to the President for International & Commercial Affairs (2021–2022), advising on major commercial decisions and strategic initiatives.

Appointed as the founding Director of AZAL’s low-cost carrier, tasked with launching and operationalizing Buta Airways — Azerbaijan’s first LCC. Oversaw route planning, business model design, cost strategy, and market entry.

Served in a series of ascending leadership roles including: • Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs • Head of International Settlements • Deputy Executive Director of AZAL Oversaw international commercial relations, bilateral partnerships, and internal commercial operations across the airline.

Began leadership track as Deputy Head, later promoted to Head of the Commercial Operations Department within AZAL’s International Commercial Division. Focused strategy execution, commercial coordination, and early-stage strategic development.
