Administered the Visiting Specialist Program: Direct Access to the Muslim World. Arranged affiliations for scholars from MENA, EAP, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa to conduct 6-8 weeks teaching grants at U.S. universities on topics related to Islamic studies. .

Manage cooperative agreement for the Near East, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa Undergraduate Program (NESA UGRAD). Represent the U.S. State Department.

Manage Fulbright Program budget for 19 countries in the Middle East and North Africa; ensure monetary obligations are established and reconciled; provide government allocations via program management system (PMS), outline and implement spending plans with approval from ECA leadership. Track and provide program statistical information for Fulbright Programs in the region for submission to Congress. Provide oversight for U.S. government exchange programs between the U.S. and countries in the Middle East and North Africa, specially on programmatic policies and regulations, devise and communicate best practices, and provide guidance regarding crisis management with multiple stakeholders (U.S. Embassies, cooperating agencies, Fulbright Commissions, etc). Manage cooperative agreement with AMIDEAST regarding the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the MENA region. Represent the U.S. Department of State at events.
