Worked in integrated and self-contained classes for preschool children with a wide range of disabilities. Assisted children with class work, lunch prep, play skills, and pragmatic skills. Assisted teachers with class lessons, activities, and documentation.

Administered pure tone screenings, SRT’s, WRS’s, tympanometry screenings, and OAE’s to adults and children.

Volunteered at Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro and provided feeding therapy to infants and children with multiple physical and neurological impairments under the supervision of Dr. Nancy Colodny. Educated nursing and administrative staff on feeding positions, different utensils, compensatory feeding strategies, and oral care.

Provided speech-language therapy for itinerant 3-5 year olds, and school aged children with impairments such as Autism, TBI, Down Syndrome, OHI, NCED, Learning Disabilities, and Specific Language Impairment. Duties included: providing speech therapy to increase speech intelligibility, receptive and expressive language skills, articulation and phonological skills, pragmatic language skills, and fluency skills, conduct and participate in IEP meetings, develop IEP goals, maintain daily log notes and Medicaid billing, and wrote clinical reports including progress notes and FIEs. Administer various standardized tests including: PLS-5, TOLD-P, CELF, CASL, Arizona 3, and Goldman Fristoe. Conduct training sessions for teaching and administrative staff regarding speech/language development.

* Provided speech language therapy for school aged children with autistic spectrum disorders. Duties included: providing speech therapy to increase speech intelligibility, receptive and expressive language skills, working with a variety of AAC devices and programs, maintaining daily therapy logs, and writing clinical reports. * Implemented ABA as part of an interdisciplinary team. * Administered standardized tests and performed dynamic assessment.

* Provided speech language therapy for PPCD, PK, and school aged children. * Conducted PK speech and language screenings and administered standardized testing. * Conducted and participated in ARD meetings. * Developed appropriate IEP goals, maintained daily log notes and progress. * Completed all progress reports, ARD paperwork, and assessment reports in a timely manner. * Managed caseload of multiple schools and maintained a consistent schedule throughout year. * Treated students using various AAC devices and PECS.
