Responsible for FIFO at the plant and at the off site warehouse. Provide direction for the Receiving area employees to insure that the Kanban system and company policies are being followed. Supervised employees in receiving, purchasing, and shipping.

Supervise and direct the activities of hourly employees in a lean manufacturing injection molding facility. Responsible for the training, evaluation, safety, and discipline of operators, utilities operators, die setters, and mold techs. Calculate labor potential and make staffing adjustments on a daily basis to ensure maximum production with minimum labor cost. Direct, instruct, and train new and promoted employees, and monitor, evaluate, and correct employee performance and behavior as necessary. Perform all shift investigations, enforce and uphold company policies, and implement any corrective actions. Plan, coordinate, and regulate work flow throughout department in accordance with company lean manufacturing system. Coordinate and participate in company programs. Coordinate, assist, and review problems and changes with supervisors on other shifts and departments to ensure productivity requirements are met. Adjust, calibrate, and monitor injection molding machines to assure product control. Prepare reports, memos schedules, and any other supporting documentation as necessary. Insure that daily process checks are completed accurately. Use root cause problem solving techniques to bring resolution to quality problems and productivity issues. Maintain housekeeping per 5S standards.

Supervise and direct the activities of salaried and hourly employees across 3 shifts while utilizing knowledge base of employment law and HR procedures and promoting a team environment. Responsible for facilities maintenance, security, janitorial, facilities, and vending. Coordinate janitorial activities and vendors to ensure safe and clean environment.
