The National Science Foundation funded REU program supports undergraduate participation in research projects. Project under the supervision of Dr. Periasamy Rajan involved researching, implementing, and improving a wavelet transform in MATLAB to embed invisible watermarks into compressed, cropped, and scaled images. C# Programmer for a knowledge-based system that queried the web for documents relevant to a Manufacturing Technology Roadmap. Personal responsibilities included creating a module to scan documents for viruses using Symantec’s C++ interface to their Virus Scan Engine. Platform: C# and C++
