Experience

Principal Associate Scientist
Lead a team of multiple associate scientists in AAV and LV process development to create both platforms. In charge of daily viral vector PD activities including experimental design (DoE), bioreactor scale up, and data analysis. Lead tech transfers as Upstream SME.

Senior Associate Scientist
I help lead the scale up work for LVV process development work. Experienced in small scale and pilot scale bioreactors as well as DOE for process optimization. In charge of handling lab inventory and ordering supplies critical for meeting project timelines.

Senior Research Associate I
Homology Medicines, Inc.

Research Associate II
Homology Medicines, Inc.
Helped initiate an internal Plasmid Process as well as analytical method development. Supported AAV process development from shakeflasks through scale up to 2000L bioreactor. I performed AAV vector production/process development work in CCS10s; as well as 2L, 25L, and 50L bioreactors. I support optimizing process development by carrying out independent studies and batch purifying AAV.

Postgraduate Associate
Yale University
I am investigating the roles histones and chaperone proteins have on terminal erythroid differentiation, with a focus on enucleation. I work with mice, to obtain embryos and remove fetal livers to culture erythroid progenitors. The cells are cultured and infected via lenti virus to alter terminal differentiation, which is visualized via flow cytometry and FACS analysis using FlowJo.

Histology Technologist
Dianon Systems
I performed the gross examination of biological specimen and dissected them, submitting sections for pathological review. I maintained graphical representations of how samples were inked in sectioned for the pathologists to reference. I was also responsible for tissue processing and embedding samples in parrafin so they could be cut into slides.
