Currently responsible for supporting over 1000 individuals (children, young adults and parents) from schools, a children's hospital, a women's shelter and a number of orphanages in using organised, relevant, high quality digital resources and physical books to move forward with their educational journey through the Primary Colours ABC project.

Responsible for supporting middle management in all areas of high school related areas. Working with all stakeholders to identify and develop strategies of improvement throughout the school. Notably: ○ Child protection (online, within the boarding house, at home and in school) ○ Healthier diets ○ Technology integration

Responsible for planning, teaching, assessing Grade 3 students in line with IB PYP guidelines Responsible for creating an inclusive environment and access to the curriculum for all Grade 3 students Responsible for supporting teachers in understanding and using technologies within their various classroom contexts

Responsible for all English development related areas connected to the primary section of the school including: EAL, Phonics, and overall English curriculum integration to the International Baccalaureate framework. A full job role is available on request. Setting up departments which focused on learning needs and booster groups for support. Mentoring teachers to develop best teaching and learning practice within the school.

Reviewed and updated school’s ‘Child Protection and Safeguarding’ policy. Delivered a session to teaching and support staff focused on child protection and safeguarding including an introduction to the policy. Able to work in-depth with the latest UK child protection and safeguarding policies issued by the UK Government as well as drawing from a number of leading UK child protection charities such as the NSPCC and adapting these to the local context.

Reviewed the MEd in Educational Leadership and School Improvement course offered by BRACU. The review involved researching the MEd’s individual modules and comparing them with other leading international universities. Based on this recommendations were offered on how the programme might develop in the future.

Introduced weekly staff training facilitated by myself and based on the UK PGCE and Teachers’ Standards. Successfully saw through the construction of a rooftop playground, dining area, and guided major renovations as part of school expansion. As a result of multiple initiatives such as marketing through a Facebook page, which was managed by myself, and the improvements to the school aforementioned, student numbers in the Uttara campus more than doubled during my time as VP.

Presented a training session titled ‘Phonics - a vital tool for the mastery of English’ at the annual DISA training day where several of the most reputable schools in Dhaka come together. Aimed to aid teachers to better understand the importance and application of quality phonics lessons in the early years. I was asked to repeat the session several times for my own school across its several campuses.

Responsible for teaching a range of subjects including Literacy, Mathematics, Computing and Religious Education among others. Successfully incorporated meaningful current events to contextualise interdisciplinary learning within the UK National Curriculum to support the development of personal and cultural values and identity. Actively took up extra roles and responsibilities such as Computing coordinator and working with a local library.

Classes ranged from 8 year olds to adults up to the age of 60 with class sizes ranging from 5 to 13 students per class. The English level of the students ranged from elementary to proficient. The exams which I prepared students for included in-house end of term exams and the Cambridge Key English Test (KET), First Certificate in English (FCE), Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) and the Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE) exams.
