Leading efforts in the design, expression, and purification of novel recombinant proteins for nanodisc applications.

Successfully led over ten antibody discovery projects including digestion/preparation and injection of antigens, rodent lymphoid tissue processing, isolation and enrichment of antigen-specific single B-cell, retrieval, verification of antibody sequences, antibody repertoire analysis, antibody cloning, and validation of the clones using mammalian cell culture, ELISA and flow cytometry, and successfully purified and delivered high quality antibodies to clients. Generated and maintained stable cell lines/pools for antibody validation. Authored and validated 4 SOPs covering ELISA, mammalian cell culture and transfection, and recombinant IgG purification with AKTA system.

Worked on optimization of protein expression including various antibodies (full length, Fab or ScFv), gp120, G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), and proteins involved sterol biosynthesis, using mammalian and baculovirus expression systems, and homemade vectors (from transient expression vectors).

Worked on multiple projects in the field of immunology and oncology. Using mammalian and baculovirus expression system, and ion exchange and size-exclusion chromatography, I managed to produce large quantities of various kinases and other recombinant proteins for drug-screening and functional assays.

Worked on multiple projects, in charge of producing a number of recombinant proteins including lysosomal enzymes, urea cycles enzymes, extracellular domains of various receptors, and kinases. Presented results to cross-functional project teams and working across various platforms. Generated and developed stable HT1080 and CHO cell lines expressing recombinant enzymes for downstream studies.
