* My work consisted of the development of new mathematical approximations and computational methods for the ab initio calculation of molecular electronic structure involving both analytical investigation and numerical benchmarking of candidate theories on systems exemplifying the electron correlation problem, as well as implementing the most successful theories in the Molpro quantum chemistry software package.
