Since beginning my professional career 8 years ago, I have always had a hand in sales. After graduating from college in 2015, and seeing many friends head off to university, I spent countless hours thinking about what it was that I wanted to do, accomplish and achieve. This a question I ask myself often. Untold hours later, I decided that sales was the field I would pursue. I started as a sales representative for Moncharm Wine Traders on the 18th of September 2015. I still remember my first day like it was yesterday, over the first few months I took to the role well while building on my communication and sales skills. After spending time learning the business, going above and beyond to absorb information that could help me grow. I soon progressed to the role of sales manager where I inherited the duties of taking sales meetings and reporting to the directors before eventually going on to take interviews and train the new staff. Over the 5 years, I spent at Moncharm I helped grow the business, taking on many responsibilities from the directors. 2020 was a strange year for most, Covid left many people and businesses in unfamiliar waters. For me, it was a blessing in disguise. It allowed me to reevaluate where I was in life, what I had already achieved and what I wanted to achieve in the future. As much as I enjoyed my time at Moncharm it was time for me to branch out, take the skills I had learnt and apply them to a new project. It was when I sat down with long-time friend Josh Chart and spoke of the idea of working together.
