- Ensure timely issuance of PO based on lead time. - Coordinate and work closely with supplier on delivery schedule and ensure timely delivery to support production. - Establish and maintain good rapport with all suppliers. - Implement inventory measures to minimize stock-out and excess inventory in order to optimize working capital. - Monitor and ensure optimal inventory level for all materials especially bulky parts to ensure warehouse availability at all time. - Keep abreast of global market trends to ensure continuous supply of raw materials. - Negotiate with supplier for best deals. - Source and evaluate new potential supplier in accordance to company's policy and procedures. - Involve in bi-annual stock taking activity to ensure stock data is up-to-date and accurate. - Coordinate and arrange materials to subcontractors. - Submit report and highlight any issues to Assistant General Manager.
