I retired from Anesthesiology with over 30 years of Experience, with 26 of those at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. I have provided the full range of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine Services, including Pre-Operative evaluation, Post Operative Evaluation and Management as well as dedicated direct patient care in the O.R. Madigan Army Medical Center is a Tertiary Care Facility for Armed Services Personnel and their families, as well as Retirees and their dependents, serving the Puget Sound Region, as well as Alaska, Idaho and Montana. In addition, I served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 15 years, which included a Deployment to Bosnia in 2003, where I was the Anesthesia Director for a Field Hospital for Task Force Medical Eagle. Over the last year, I have made a major Career Pivot, and I am now fully engaged in the Field of Longevity Medicine, which focuses on Healthspan, not just Lifespan. I am now employed at Longevity Medical Clinic in Kirkland, WA. You may have noticed a change in the nature and focus of my posts, and going forward, these will be primarily focused on concerns and issues relevant to these topic.
