Student researcher for the Orthopaedic Research Lab (ORL) of the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, focusing on the mechanics of intervertebral disc degeneration. Delivered a capstone presentation to the ORL comparing various routes of raloxifene administration on the compressive stiffness of intervertebral discs in female murine models. Recognized with formal awards for best summer presentation and outstanding lab citizen.

Completed Emergency Medical Technician didactic and ride-along field training. Earned supplemental certifications in the use of the laryngeal mask airway (LMA) and administration of Naloxone (Narcan). Successfully received formal certification and recognized by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
