As an operations supervisor with over 20 years of experience. I have assumed increased levels of responsibilities through practical application of a strong set of analytical and creative thinking skills, I believe I would make a highly valuable addition to your team. I have a solid history of producing results with each company I have worked for. I have overseen all aspects of the operations in an LTL company from dock operations to P&D operations. My work has resulted in an efficient and streamlined operation. The following are some competencies I offer:  Strong managerial and oversight skills, I expertly directed a team of over 40 unionized employees. Due to the varying set of skills of the staff and level of professional expertise, I worked with each group to promote their strengths and provide opportunities to grow.  With a comprehensive operations background I have revised the direct loading and unloading of shipments, successfully instituting operations that are effective and efficient.  Received recognition for being number one in the system with ABF Freight System in effective load average by reducing line haul and terminal cost.
