Senior technology programme manager for Hong Kong Digital Business Banking platforms - internet, mobile banking, onboarding and other digital servicing application. Responsible for overseeing the tech organisation from incubation, development to execution & release in Agile. Over USD$30m budget responsibility with over 200 staff members in various locations.

Manage a development team to participate the firmwide stability programme for couple of Cash applications resolving concern from compliance / regulatory (SG MAS, JP FSA, KR FSS etc), address capacity limitation (JP HSRR), improve code quality, establish a monitoring model, manage fix delivery, provide room of faster resolution & strengthen resilience capability.

As application architect and managed a team of Hong Kong, Mumbai & Shenzhen resources on various tech refresh projects, and reviewed application architectures to ensure they fit into vision and quality controls ▪ Capacity Tuning, introduced event driven & message based framework by using ESB MULE to replace the batch based legacy code, also with in-depth code refactoring as well as SQL tuning. That enables transaction-based processing in real-time, sustains business volume forecast and performance was substantially improved. Moreover, 30+ virtual servers were assembled for ring-fence resource for each of countries processing. ▪ Job Server, due to cost & performance constraint of using Autosys (CA scheduling tool), implemented home growth solution as an alternative, command line interface / client GUI was provided for scheduling job manipulation with comprehensive error reporting. ▪ Modernize Architecture, migrated application from Oracle 9 to Oracle RAC (11g) with active-active nodes deployment, deployed app on ESX farm instead of bare metal for achieved seamless same site failover & reduced significant server cost, visualizing server also introduced room of horizontal scaling ▪ Resilience Gap Analysis & Remediation, identified gap by performing analysis with business and local tech team in particular about resilience model with different upstream or downstream, internal or external applications, and managed the remediation delivery. ▪ Continuous Integration, made framework available to support daily build & test by leveraging Hudson, and implemented script for auto daily code merge to resolve conflict between branches to improvement development efficiency.

Development Lead 2008 – 2011, managed resources for different projects in which each was delivered by or before deadline and under budget for expanding settlement capability in Asia Pacific. Liaised with business user and clearing representative on requirement. Designed application architectures and programmed. Project management duties included creating project, requirement gathering, managing resource, schedules and use case / design writing. Programmer / Support 2006 – 2008, designed and implemented business modules with using different patterns, produced program specification, conducted test support, setup stress test environment and implemented simulator to perform stress test with performance analysis and provided 7/24 production support.
