As the lead design engineer for over seven years, I have been directly involved in a substantial number of cradle to grave and reverse engineering projects for some of the leading international OEM's and supply chain, transport and logistics organizations. A wide range of projects required essential skills such as; CAE, CFD, FEA and RCA. Additional duties comprised of the development of manuals and technical documentation, purchasing of components, stock control, quality control and vehicle movement and logistics. Key projects and areas include: • Alternative fuel conversions including; Hybrid Electric, Full Electric, Diesel/CNG and Diesel/LNG. • Tier 1 and retrofit air intake and exhaust systems, silencers, DPF's and SCR's. Including those used throughout the range of a leading UK bus manufacturer. • ClearView safety systems, fitted to over 2000 vehicles and developed in response to the DVS. The only retrofit product to achieve star ratings and letters of no objection from numerous manufacturers and to be chosen as a direct OEM product. • Dual steering systems, used on refuse and road maintenance vehicles throughout the UK and Internationally. • Chassis and driveline modifications used for specialist vehicle engineering and second life adaptation. • Root cause analysis and solution implementation directly for and in partnership with OEM's and on Astra products. • HVAC units installed within large scale construction and civil engineering projects. • Park assist systems which, provide additional braking when using front-mounted or rear-mounted cranes. • ADR Systems for EX, AT, FL and SLP vehicle specifications. • The design of interior panels, closures and plastics, GRP and polymer moulds, fabricated parts, glass, machine tooling and rapid prototypes produced through FDM/SLA additive manufacturing. • Fitting Instructions and manuals for use internally and externally with remote contractors and within dealerships.

For three seasons, the VIP/hospitality position at one of the world’s most recognizable brands and highest-earning sports franchises meant working to the highest standards of customer service within Old Trafford’s exclusive suites. With a managerial role, responsibilities included: The mentoring of new staff, the delegation of jobs, cashier balancing and stock control along with the general bar duties and multitasking.

With a 1st Class Honours and an average of 80%, this BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering completed alongside full-time employment combined; theory, analytical and computational methods with an emphasis on the automotive industry, automotive design and systems control, including the research, design and development of: • Passive, Semi-active and Active suspension systems for vibration control. • An autonomous KR 1000 Titan control procedure to manoeuvre BIW vehicles in production. • FEA analysis to examine the structural implications of introducing retrofit solutions in response to the Direct Vision Standard, achieved using OEM provided CAD data and the personally developed Astra ClearView system. • Active aerodynamics and its integration with ADAS and VDC to minimize the conflicts presented throughout vehicle design. A comprehensive research including; Diffuser/MPC designs, CFD analysis and, works into shape adaptive morphing structure as an alternate means of actuation.

Achieving, an average grade of 84% across all modules, this part-time HNC/HND course completed while working full-time combined theory and application to develop my knowledge of engineering and operational principles. It involved the creation of Design Portfolio's, an Autonomous Hovercraft, Air-engine, Rocket Car and Soapbox Derby Racer which, competed in the 2017 Billericay Soapbox Derby. The Level 4 Award in Management and Leadership helped to grow personal knowledge of the roles and responsibilities required for management and leadership. It also developed my professional management capabilities and skills including; decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capabilities.
