SmartSpace was launched in 2012 to create the perfect model in agile commercial office solutions. A sense of innovation, agility and cutting-edge thinking is what I believe characterises SmartSpace. I like to think that’s the same energy that fuels us to solve our client’s problems as well. From the beginning, it has been my vision to create something more than a business—it was about making time for my family (and perhaps a bit of time for BFT and to catch the odd (large) fish!. It was also an opportunity to mentor others as I had been mentored. We have grown SmartSpace from a four-person team to a business employing 20 staff. Many combined years in the industry has helped us get here, and we are excited to now be diversifying what we do by incorporating technology-based office fitout solutions. This is an area that interests me & I believe a huge part of our future. It made sense to me to have a small investment in this area ie Agile Workplace Ltd with products like Smartalock & Floorsense. This is a growth area due to the general demand for technology & data required to make informed decisions, & is ideal to export. With Hybrid working the technology & power supply above desk top is an ideal solution to today’s changing environments.
