Taking customer orders, and dealing with any complaints or issues that may arise, both over the phone and in store. Working as part of a small team to process and dispatch orders placed, swiftly and correctly. Dealing with suppliers and entering account information.

As a frontline member of the team I was responsible for Instructing both adults and children on the use of Dinghies, Powerboats, Yachts and windsurfers. I co-ordinated staff both on and off the water to ensure a high level of safety and customer care was maintained, whilst dealing with any requests or complaints on a day to day basis to help provide excellent customer service

The Even Keel Project is a new charity dedicated to introducing disadvantaged and disabled people to sailing and eventually racing using 20ft, Artemis 20, Keel Boats. As part of a small team my work within the charity was varied, much of the time requiring me to fulfil jobs not necessarily in my job description. My main role however, was the organisation and safety of sailors on the water, for either, a first time introduction to sailing, or, aiding more experience sailors to take part in regattas on both a large and small scale. This meant working with sailors from a range of different backgrounds and all with different abilities. Other areas of my work included the transport and set- up of boats for use in sailing introductions and racing, for example ‘Try Sailing’ in Galway, Ireland, and Cowes Regatta on the Isle of White. When not travelling or on the water I would be composing S.O.P’s for the charity as well as writing and updating the boats owners manual.
