Jake Jesberger

I have been editing content for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) since August of 2024. Together we created the PIAA Scene, an episodic series that showcases highlights from high school sports across the state of Pennsylvania. These episodes are posted on the PIAA social media accounts and have racked up over 60k views. I have also been tasked with editing video board content such as advertisements and hype videos that are displayed at the PIAA state championships.

I was the lead producer for Sport & Story at Penn State University. My main responsibility was producing the Penn State Pregame Show, which is a live football talkshow that leads up to kickoff every Saturday. This show is hosted by former PSU alumni Christian Hackenberg and Jason Cabinda. I was solely in charge of writing the rundown for the week, editing video and graphic elements, and directing the show.

I produced exclusive content for HailState+, a streaming service built for all things Mississippi State Athletics. I covered all of our collegiate sports and create content such as season long documentary series, mic’d ups, film breakdowns, and podcasts. Alongside one other producer, we handled every aspect of production on the platform. I shot games, edited videos, wrote scripts, conducted interviews, built graphics, cut social media promos, ran podcasts and managed the website. All of this can be found at hailstateplus.com.

Each week I was tasked with shooting sports events, taking photos, and editing various different types of videos. This content was used for social media and in-game presentations to share with our Temple community.

As a student worker with Temple Athletics, I help broadcast our sporting events to ESPN+. Normal responsibilities include camera work, audio, replay, video board technical directing, shading, and utility work. I have also worked on a few national games for Temple basketball that aired on ESPN2 and ESPNU.

The Resnick Center is located at Temple University and prepares student athletes for academic and professional success after graduation. As an intern I made videos, took photos, and created graphics for their Instagram page.
