About

I’m a builder at heart My first business, Hobo Hammocks, started with nothing but an idea and a deadline. In 30 days, I raised $17,500 to launch it by validating demand, crafting a clear value proposition, and converting interest into paid customers. That experience shaped how I approach sales today: find real pain, communicate simply, and close decisively. Since then, I’ve applied those same principles across multiple businesses: Whake Studios I scaled Whake Studios into a six-figure e-commerce brand by owning the entire revenue engine—positioning, messaging, funnels, paid ads, email, and conversion optimization. Every product launch requires demand generation, objection handling, and consistent closing at scale. The Weekend Dentist I built a weekend-only, fee-for-service emergency dental practice with no insurance and no recurring hygiene revenue. Every patient is effectively a same-day close. Success depends on trust, urgency, clear communication, and delivering value under pressure. The Scratch Plan The Scratch Plan blends content, education, and conversion. I use long-form and short-form content to build authority, nurture trust, and convert an audience into paying subscribers—proving that sales doesn’t have to feel like sales when the message is right. Across all of my work, I focus on: Demand generation from zero Clear, pain-driven messaging Full-cycle selling (top-of-funnel → close) Objection handling and value framing Revenue systems that scale I’m currently exploring sales-focused roles where ownership, creativity, and results matter—especially environments that value people who can both create demand and close. If you’re building something that needs real traction, I’m open to the conversation.

The Scratch Plan

Built and scaled The Scratch Plan as a sales-led, digital subscription business by owning the full revenue motion—from demand generation to conversion and retention. Primary focus was creating inbound demand through education-driven content, clear positioning, and trust-based selling. Rather than relying on cold outreach, I designed systems that attract qualified prospects, address objections upfront, and make buying decisions feel obvious. Key responsibilities and impact: Owned the full sales cycle: top-of-funnel awareness through close and ongoing retention Built inbound demand using long-form and short-form video content as the primary acquisition channel Developed sales messaging and positioning to clearly communicate value and overcome objections Designed and optimized conversion-focused landing pages and funnels Built and managed an email list for lead capture, nurture, onboarding, and upsell Closed customers without discounts or high-pressure tactics by aligning offers to real user pain Execution and systems: Filmed, edited, and distributed video content to drive demand and qualify prospects Built landing pages and email flows to support sales and retention Iterated offers, pricing, and messaging based on customer behavior and feedback Created repeatable systems that connect content → email → conversion This role blends modern sales execution with hands-on production and growth—proving that strong positioning, clear messaging, and trust can outperform traditional outbound-heavy sales models.

Built and operate a weekend-only, fee-for-service emergency dental practice focused entirely on high-intent, same-day conversions. With no insurance participation, no hygiene, and limited hours, every patient interaction functions as a time-sensitive sales conversation requiring trust, clarity, and decisive closing. Growth depends on precise positioning, urgency-based demand capture, and clear value communication under pressure. Key responsibilities and impact: Owned full-cycle sales from inbound lead to same-day close Converted high-intent leads into paying patients through trust-based communication Positioned services around urgency, outcomes, and transparency rather than insurance complexity Managed pricing, objections, and treatment acceptance in real time Optimized patient acquisition through targeted marketing and clear messaging Execution and systems: Built and refined intake and conversion workflows to reduce friction Designed messaging that increased case acceptance without discounts Balanced sales performance with clinical delivery in a fast-paced environment This role sharpened my ability to sell under pressure, communicate value quickly, and close when decisions matter most.

Hobo Hammocks

2015-5 - 2023-1 · 7 yrs 9 mos

SLC, Utah

Launched Hobo Hammocks by validating demand and raising $17,500 in 30 days to fund the initial product run—without an existing audience or outside capital. This business was a crash course in early-stage sales: testing messaging, telling a compelling story, handling objections, and closing customers before the product existed. Key responsibilities and impact: Validated product-market fit through direct customer selling Raised $17,500 in 30 days by converting interest into pre-orders Built urgency and scarcity to drive early adoption Positioned a new product clearly in a crowded market Closed customers on vision, value, and trust Execution and systems: Created launch messaging and campaigns focused on outcomes, not features Managed pre-orders, customer communication, and fulfillment expectations Used customer feedback to refine positioning and product direction Hobo Hammocks laid the foundation for my approach to sales: clarity, urgency, and closing before building.
