Chemical Engineer (M. Ing.) - Member of the OIQ I work remotely full time. Solid skills in GHG emissions verification, verification of sustainability reports, air emissions, CI assessment (LCA) / Life cycle analysis (LCA) of clean fuels (OpenLCA and GHGenius), and decarbonization. Passionate about the environment, the design and optimization of processes and the laboratory, I dedicate myself to bringing together favorable conditions to guarantee the smooth running of projects while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. I work on projects concerning the verification of GHG emissions according to regulations Q2, r. 15, 46.1 in Quebec and the ISO 14064 standard for several types of processes (Pulp and paper, Cement works, Biodiesel, Bioethanol, Steelworks, Fuel Distributors), but also on GHG projects for Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. I also work on verification of sustainability reports against AA1000 and GRI standards, GHG Emissions Inventory (Scope 3), calculation of carbon intensity for clean fuel projects using analysis of the life cycle according to the ISO 14044 standard (GHGenius) and on Atmospheric Emissions projects requiring the preparation of permit applications for the MELCC and air permits for the City of Montreal. I also work on projects related to the Technico-economic Study for the reduction of GHG emissions for the aid measure for the decarbonization of the Quebec industrial sector (MADI). I participated in the research and analysis of bioproducts from biomass, in the operation of palm oil and biodiesel extraction processes and in process simulation on Aspen. These experiences allow me to grasp the major challenges of companies in order to contribute effectively to the development of their projects. I also have experience leading and supervising a team. I am also autonomous and I adapt quickly.

Monsieur Alvarado fait partie du groupe de Décarbonation et Conformité Environnementale de GHD. M. Alvarado est un membre du groupe des Services d'assurance des gaz à effet de serre de GHD et possède de l'expérience dans la réalisation des vérifications de GES en vertu des Règlements 15 et 46.1 du Québec, OBPS de l’Ontario et autres provinces au Canada. Il a participé à plus de 60 projets de vérification des émissions de gaz à effet de serre, principalement pour plusieurs industries des pâtes et papiers, métallurgiques, industries de bioéthanol et de biodiésel, cimenteries, industries agroalimentaires, industries manufacturières, ainsi que pour plusieurs distributeurs de carburants/combustibles.
