Has experience in ASD (Azimuth Stern Drive) Tugboat, operation and maintenance of generators and marine diesel engines (Caterpillar and Volvo Penta), as well as their auxiliary machines. • Monitoring and assisting maintenance and repair processes of the ship's mechanical and electrical systems including: main and auxiliary engines; water and oil pumps; power generation systems; and process control equipment. • Use of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, life jackets, SART, EPIRB, etc. • Corrective maintenance of pumps, testing of flood sensors, expansion tank sensors, watertight door sensors and emergency exit hatch sensors; • Maintenance of propulsion and parameter control systems. • Has developed skills in propulsion systems, power generation and process control, such as: speed and steering control systems, performance monitoring systems, alarm and safety systems. • Winch operation with Joystick system, from the navigating bridge to assist the mooring and unmooring manoeuvres of ships. • Collaboration with maintenance and operation teams (Damen Shipyard) to ensure the safety and efficiency of Tugs and Speedboats.
