I am on a mission to leverage finance and structured problem solving to decide strategy and make an impact at scale. Jaidon Allen here 👋! I am a fourth-year student studying Finance at the McCombs School of Business. My diverse set of real-world experiences across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ernst & Young (EY), PayPal, and The Boring Company has shaped my robust development of analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, and unique perspectives on business. At The Boring Company, I gained invaluable experience in the fast-paced environment of an Elon Musk hyperloop company. Here is how: project management for effective execution, stakeholder engagement, understanding vertical integration, R&D, and, overall, the complexities of infrastructure and transportation. During my internship at PayPal, I expanded my experience with one of the world's leading fintech companies as part of the Infrastructure Program Governance team. Being involved in an enterprise actively investing in its data center and cloud footprint was exciting; I contributed to tech infrastructure, cloud migration, and transformation projects. I interned with Ernst & Young (EY), advising on a sustainable finance engagement (EU Taxonomy) and IPO due diligence as part of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team! With Amazon Web Services (AWS), I had a rigorous summer inside a global tech company focused on enterprise-wide GenAI and workflow automation. On the Network Finance team, I worked alongside Backbone (fiber) investments, partnering with BD and engineers to improve capital allocation decisions, product thinking, and growth/acquisition strategy at a global scale. In the future, I aspire to lead within an organization dedicated to driving innovation and creating positive impacts within diverse communities.
