I'm currently working as a contractor for PPL Electric Utilities Corp. I'm working on multiple projects that involve development and implementation of processes to ensure compliance with Protection and Control Standards, reviewing of P&C design packages, and developing SharePoint workflows to automate business processes in the group.

I worked as a Co-op intern in Relay Design group at Entergy which involved getting in depth knowledge on protection devices of power systems, frequent visits to various substations and shadowing and working with experienced professionals in the group on various projects involving replacing/adding fibre optics, relays, circuit breakers, etc in the Transmission and Distribution feeders.

Tutored under graduate students who needed an extra help with learning and solving math problems at the University of New Orleans.

* Worked on the Real-time simulation studies project by Entergy which includes developing the real-time simulation capabilities at the University of New Orleans lab and the lab at Entergy and hence performing several projects using hardware in the loop technique. * Gained field experience by working on multiple projects along with the personnel from Siemens and HydroQuebec. * Gained expertise in power system * Modeling and simulation using softwares such as PSSE, Hypersim, PSAT, PSLF, EMTP, Power World and ASPEN while working on the Real-time simulation project. * Became an excellent team player by working along with the research team on multiple projects.

I've worked as an Electrical Engineer-II in Configuration Management Group at Entergy. Few of my responsibilities involved are to determine liming element for a Facility and update Facility Ratings Workbooks as needed, maintain substation and Line Work Management Systems per the NERC standards, and to automate group's overall workflow etc.

1. Thesis: Proposed and implemented a method to determine the effectiveness of the Series and Shunt FACTS devices on the enhancement of the Static voltage stability of the power system.  Gained expertise on power system simulation tools such as PSSE, Hypersim, EMTP, ASPEN, PSAT, and PSLF. 2. Gained experience on voltage stability analysis, Load flow analysis, pattern recognition methods, real-time simulation studies using hardware in the loop and power system modeling and simulation.
