- Ensure continuous operation of L.I.S, with minimal downtime, in full accordance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements. - Ensure timely hardware and software maintenance and repair. - Identify, evaluate and recommend new software, software enhancements/upgrades and new hardware for continuous improvement of L.I.S. - Manage all Laboratory related aspects regarding installation, validation and conversion of new software including enhancements and upgrades of the L.I.S and related components. - Ensure that L.I.S provides prompt and accurate reporting of test results and billing information as per established Hospital guidelines. - Acts as liaison for IT and Laboratory management and staff. - Maintain staff L.I.S competency and produce and update all appropriate training documentation. - Maintain regulatory accreditation compliance for all L.I.S issues.

• Providing expert consultation to Health Support Services, Blood Bank- Transfusion Medicine arm in shaping policies and optimizing workflows. • Enhancing operational efficiency of blood banks and implementing innovative solutions. • Aligning with accreditation standards and best practices

• Developing policies and guidelines for blood bank services to ensure a sustainable and safe supply of blood products. • Monitoring and evaluating blood banks' performance in alignment with national and international standards. • Promoting donor recruitment strategies to ensure adequate blood supplies. • Facilitating collaboration among stakeholders for effective communication and partnerships.
