 Plan, Organize, Monitor and control the day-by-day inspection activities of all site QC Mechanical related works, assigned in respective sites .  Ensure QC compliance and implementation of Approved QA/QC procedures, ITP , Method Statements and to ensure all tests are carried out as per Contract requirements.  Co-ordinate, Assign & monitor all QC inspections are being followed as per client approved ITP and procedures.  Ensure related Approved Procedures, MS & IFC Drawing’s are Available & up-to-date.  Conducting Pre-Inspection meetings/ Kick Off Meetings with Client and Sub-Contractors.  Responsible for documentation of inspection activities and maintenance of quality control records.  Verifying the inspection reports and validating the results.  Maintaining Inspection tools and equipments calibration records.  Attending the Quality meetings with clients to solve the site related QC issues.  Co-ordinate with Client PMT for technical queries, log book entries, NCR’s on daily basis & follow-up for closing & taking necessary corrective/preventive actions within the scheduled time.  Issuing NCR & SR for violations found during inspections.  Attending the Management Review Meeting, NCR Control.  Co ordinating the witness of inspection and tests with the client.  Co ordination with Client and Third party inspector respect to the inspectable items.  Check and review Test package documents prior to performing any test.  Witnessing Mechanical Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities.  Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections documents, ensuring that all piping, welding ,mechanical and testing related records form a complete package and reflect the As Built.  Preparation and review of Final Documentation prior to submission to the client .

Supervision and inspection of Welding activities:( QC Lead)  Plan, Organize, Monitor and control the day-by-day inspection activities of all site QC/ Mechanical related ,assigned in respective sites .  Preparing WPS & PWPS for procedure qualification record .  Witness PQR &WQT .  Ensure QC compliance and implementation with Client QA/QC procedures, ITP and Method Statements and ensure all tests are carried out as per Contract requirements.  Checking Welding Procedure’s & Drawing’s are Available & up-to-date.  Verifying the inspection reports and validating the results.  Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package and reflect the As Built.  Responsible for documentation of inspection activities and maintenance of quality control records. Generally assigned to a single discipline activity interfacing with a multi-discipline operation.  Closing the log book entry & PRP(Plant Readiness Program) findings.  Closing the NCR & SR issues from client .  Closing the log book entry of QC issues.  QC Welding coordination in site activities.  Attending the QC meetings with clients to solve the site issues.  Raising NCR & SR to subcontractors.  Attending the Management Review Meeting based Effectivenes Improvements ,NCR Control  Co ordination with Client and Third party inspector as well with respect to the fabricated items.

Supervision and inspection of Welding activities  Review of WPS/PQR,Welder qualification,QCP,ITP& Client Specifications.  Witnessing Welder Qualification Test(WQT) and Procedure Qualification Test.  Review Of Calibration of Welding equipments, inspection and testing equipments and ovens prior to start of welding activities.  Check up of MTC’s, Batch Certificates of received consumables at site, to ensure that all welding consumables, gases , flux filler wires meet the code/specs requirements and are in good condition prior to use.  Preliminary Welding inspection activities like material traceability,dimensionalchecking, orientation of piping components ,fit up, pre heat , root pass and hot pass, intermediate cleaning and heat requirement .  Monitoring proper electrode and filler wire usage and temperature controlling of Low hydrogen electrodes, proper distortion control ,  Monitoring during welding parameters like current ,voltage,travel speed,Heat input, Interpass temperature etc. are being maintained within ranges specified in applicable WPS.  Visual inspection of completed welds, prepare D.W.R ,checklist and inspection reports.  Witnessing and monitoring NDE, PWHT, Hardness Testing and PMI have been covered as per the project specification, review inspection reports and also evaluate radiographic films.  Witnessing Repair welding activities ,assessment and review of Welder repair rate on weekly or monthly basis as per project requirement, and maintaining welder continuity.  Preparing and maintaining QA/QC documents.  Conducting Surveillance on all welding related issues &site erection activities.And issue SR for all violation/activities not conforming with project specs and codes.  Attend weekly meetings related to QC activities and scheduling of work .  Lead welding section ,manage site QC coverage & assist to solve the site technical problems and resolve construction quality issues. .

Inspection and supervision of Piping activities:  Inspecting the incoming materials for damages, dimensions and corrosions .Review and ensure that MTC is available and according to the requirements .Ensure satisfactory identification of materials ,proper protection of pipe, fittings and components .Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, Rating of flanges ,o-lets and fittings.  Inspection of prefabrication of piping spools in Fab shop as per approved isometric Drawings.  Piping Inspection including Dimensional checks, Gasket verification , valve orientation ,flow direction, checking flange face ,pipe supports installation ,pipe internal cleaning, Bolt torquing , RF pad test, Steam tracing, Orientation and flush grinding of orifice flanges.  Evaluation of test package contents to ensure that required NDT ,PWHT,Hardness test,PMI ,RF pad test and flush grinding has been performed prior to final system pressure testing.  Test package preparation & verification ,Line checking against drawings and P&ID requirements, incorporating the punch list with category “ A , B& C ” items.  Witnessing Shop and Field Hydro-Testing of Valves .  Witnessing Pigging, HDD, Disinfection & Tie-in Works.  Witness final Hydro & pneumatic pressure tests, including calibrated pressure gauges , water test certificate .  Confirm repairs, retesting and re-instatement in accordance with specifications .Ensure blinds are removed and correct gaskets are installed .Verify that control valve ,internals of check valves, Flow orifice ,instruments and other piping components which removed for the test are reinstated.  Conducting and coordinating walk through for each completed piping system and verification of closed punch items prior to mechanical completion acceptance  Witnessing Precommissioning activities like air blowing, steam blowing, water flushing, chemical cleaning ,oil flushing, Nitrogen Purging & Leak testing.
