I got into DevOps because I hated watching good software get blamed for problems that were never the software's fault. Slow deployments, silent failures, infrastructure nobody fully understood, that's what was actually breaking things. I became the person who goes in and fixes that. I work at a product R&D company that owns the entire infrastructure layer for startups, so the people building the product never have to think twice about what's holding it up. Pipelines, cloud environments, security posture, observability ; end to end, from day one. What I've learned working across real products is that bad infrastructure has a pattern. Manual steps nobody documented. Alerts configured by someone who left. Cloud spend that crept up until it couldn't be ignored. I've walked into those situations, understood them from the ground up, and rebuilt them into something the team could actually rely on. Less noise. Fewer surprises. Deployments that don't require a war room. That's the work I care about, not just operating infrastructure, but making it something worth operating. I build pipelines that teams trust enough to not think about. Cloud environments that handle scale without becoming expensive puzzles. Security that lives in the architecture, not in a checklist someone runs once a quarter.
