I work at the intersection of standard-essential patents (SEPs), global litigation, and complex licensing negotiations. As an in-house IP counsel at a multinational technology company, I lead Wi-Fi and cellular SEP licensing and dispute resolution programs across the UK, Germany, and the UPC, often involving parallel court proceedings and commercial negotiations. My work focuses on FRAND strategy, interim licences, rate-setting disputes, and cross-border deal structuring, particularly in the automotive, consumer electronics, and IoT sectors. I regularly coordinate with external counsel, technical experts, and internal business teams to align legal strategy with commercial outcomes. I am especially interested in how evolving case law and market practice are reshaping SEP licensing models beyond the traditional smartphone ecosystem.
