Today, as Co-Owner and Vice President of LH Home, I’m proud to help lead a company built on quality, thoughtful design, and strong client partnerships. We work with retail, interior design, real estate development, e-commerce, hospitality, and trade clients across North America and beyond. I’m hands-on across the business, from product development to sales and service, making sure every detail reflects the standards our customers know us for. I began training in Shorei-Kan Karate in January 1996 under Shihan Tomoaki Koyabu. Shorei-Kan, which originated in Okinawa, is a traditional martial art that fuses Chinese Kung Fu with Japanese techniques—focusing on discipline, precision, and inner strength. Over the course of more than a decade, I progressed to earn my black belt and took on the role of Sensei, leading karate and weaponry classes for students of all ages and experience levels. My focus as an instructor was on developing not only strong technique but also personal growth, respect, and confidence in each student. This experience shaped my leadership style—grounded in discipline, humility, and leading by example—which continues to influence my professional life today.

While working full-time at LH Home, I continued my education and earned a Bachelor of Business degree in 2016, applying what I learned directly to help grow the company. Balancing work and studies was challenging but taught me discipline and commitment—values I bring to every partnership with our factories and vendors. These relationships are essential to consistently delivering quality and reliability to our clients. I believe that hard work and genuine collaboration create lasting value for everyone involved.
