* Three month internship at well integrated pharma company as part of my undergraduate university degree. * Gained experience in routine quality control procedures such as physical testing, limited testing, dissolution studies, HPLC, GC, microbial testing and Karl Fisher testing amongst others. * Successfully completed the current General Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) training course.

* My responsibilities: * To write validation document and reports and supervise all the data for the validation process. * Monitor the validation production in relation to the necessities needed by the commercial department. * Co-ordinating tasks for production of Kilo Lab batches. * Writing of manufacturing sheets and master batches. * Track the correct functioning of equipment and installations in Pilot Plant and Kilo Lab . * Work within both R&D and QC department to carry out trials and testing. * To manage interdepartmental relations efficiently. * Trained on: * Operating reactors in Kilo lab and Pilot Plant. * Operating nano filters and Preparative HPLCs * Working in a clean area: can operate industrial centrifuges, paddle dryers, fluid bed dryer, blenders and micronizer. * the following Laboratory equipment: Vacuum dryers, optical rotation apparatus , Karl Fisher titrator, potentiometric assay titrator, Malvern Particle size analyser, air jet sieve, GC, HPLC and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer.
