For almost 13 years I worked in the bookkeeping, tax prep, accounting department specializing in divorce litigation. In divorce litigation I organized all information received, compiled schedules for the Attorneys and assisted the lead CPA's on cases. I moved up to Supervision in the Bookkeeping area and also prepared Individual and Corporate tax returns. In 2001, I left the firm to provide Consulting Services to CPA's as a outsourced Bookkeeper and in 2005 I started Souza and Associates.
