• Executed concurrent in-vivo studies of complex design encompassing pharmacokinetics, PBMC-humanized efficacy, and proof-of-concept disease models for top priority autoimmunity project. • Developed and optimized a skin tissue digestion protocol for flow cytometry analysis (+5 colors) of immune cells in a murine bleomycin-induced disease model. • Optimized cell to cell ratios of various xenograft cell lines for tumor co-implantation studies to enable pharmacodynamic assessment of lead drug candidate using a human cytokine as a readout. • Co-authored abstract for public disclosure at AACR 2025 (https://doi.org/10.1158/1538-7445.AM2025-LB230) • Performed literature search to investigate various in-vivo models of autoimmune disease for application within on-going discovery programs. • Trained junior and senior associates in various animal handling and in-vivo procedures.

• Independently executed in-vivo experiments (tumor implantation, caliper measurements, IV dosing, necropsy) for top priority oncology program to generate critical proof-of-concept data of lead drug candidate, contributing to overall data package which resulted in successful IND nomination. • Performed ex-vivo analyses including ELISA, Western blot, RNA extraction and RT-qPCR for on-going discovery programs. • Provided support to other programs by executing highly technical in-vivo procedures such as osmotic pump implantation, intra-cisterna magna (ICM) dosing, and cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) sample collection. • Assisted in antibody characterization with luciferase-based assays to assess functional activity of antibodies of interest. • Analyzed data and presented findings at bi-weekly project team meetings.

• Performed specialized technical skills daily including dosing (IV, IP, SC, PO, IM), blood collection (jugular, sublingual, submental), surgical support, and behavior assessments to obtain critical data points in mouse, rat, and rabbit animal models of various diseases. • Served as a member on facility’s IACUC committee, regularly reviewing research protocols and performing facility inspections to ensure compliance with established regulations and animal welfare practices. • Adhered to strict biosafety protocols in the handling of animals, equipment, and test materials within BSL-2 containment environments. • Assisted management in daily review of team schedule to ensure that staff were allocated appropriately for designated tasks.

• Performed daily husbandry tasks for various small animals including mortality checks, feeding, and weekly cage rotations. • Ensured daily animal welfare, including coordinating concerns needing to be reported to veterinary staff. • Assisted with specialized procedures including dosing, blood collections, and genotyping.

Completed a semester abroad at the University of Tasmania, focusing on the Australian agriculture industry and the study of local flora and fauna through field-based learning and research.
