My project involved the establishment and populating of the Mission Assurance Information System (MAIS) for the Mars 2020 rover mission. MAIS is an online database which allows engineers from the major mission subsystems to assign and track environmental tests and analyses. Working closely with the lead engineers, my group and I assigned environmental tests to each mission component by assessing which target environments it would encounter and at what levels.
