Skipton Horse Trials is a premier grassroots venue with British Eventing (BE) affiliated competition taking place in June & August each year. The One Day Event (ODE) includes the same horse riding disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country as the Three Day Events which take place at the Olympics, the FEI World Equestrian Games and international events such as Badminton and Burghley. Undertook a months paid work experience over the Christmas break from university. Duties involved database management for Stax Trade Centres chain of wholesalers. Working through each department, I cross referenced lists of item codes to product categories ensuring they were suitably grouped. Database and website content management are now becoming important aspects of business, due to the cultural shift of consumers purchasing online. The work gave me hands on database management experience to supplement my studies.
