Austin Elements Inc aims to build a low-carbon Critical Metals Recycling Giga factory of 100,000 MTs/year (both LFP and NCM) processing capacity in Texas. The outputs are battery-grade materials like Lithium Hydroxide, Lithium Carbonate (pharmaceutical-grade and electronic-grade), Cobalt/Nickel/Manganese sulphate, Iron Phosphate, Iron Manganese Phosphate.

Acquired by a public company in 2021. My role was supporting R&D, commercialization, and Fundraising. We acquired the intellectual properties, lab, key scientists, and field facilities from the leading microbial enhanced oil recovery company Glori Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: GLRI), and developed a novel unconventional microbial EOR technology. It was awarded DOE SBIR funding support for developing a novel biological method to enhance unconventional shale oil recovery factor (Contract #: DE-SC0018545). It was in the transition period to take over the U.S. Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office for a loan guarantee of up to $150 million, which was used to promote the commercialization of the MEOR technology through the acquisition of the potential targeted oilfields. It's a technology company focusing on increasing oil production and addressing petrochemical polluted land with an innovative and environmentally friendly microbial method.
