High-Voltage Design Lead

Engineered high-voltage systems for our solar car, designed for a cross country endurance competition. Lead a team of three engineers in the design of custom PCBs and embedded firmware to integrate our 120V battery with the rest of our high-voltage system. Designed an Active Precharge board employed in the car’s ignition sequence to safely charge our DC bus capacitance. Measured the voltage across a precharge resistor and implemented a comparator with hysteresis to signal a contactor to bypass the resistor when voltage equalized.

Embedded Systems Engineer

Pulse Generator PCB - Schematic & Layout in Altium Designer Designed a custom PCB, capable of injecting a 100VDC pulse at any point on a 120V AC wave to an undisclosed load with nanosecond-scale pulse injection accuracy. R&D Optics System - Embedded firmware Developed custom brightness mapping algorithm. Designed docking station & embedded firmware to enable long-term clock synchronization of multiple STM32 microcontrollers without electrical connection.
