About
As an Electrical Engineering Leader with a decade of experience in electrical engineering, I've not only brought transformative technical designs to life but also achieved significant business success by seizing expansion and capability-building opportunities. I envision disruptive engineering strategies and drive substantial growth by creating tailored solutions and nurturing talented teams. ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP: At Intuitive Research & Technology Corporation, where I transitioned from Boeing, I established the circuit board design group from scratch. I outlined policies, procedures, and guidebooks to set a solid foundation. By building in-house prototyping capabilities and reducing dependence on contractors, I significantly cut costs and generated substantial revenue. DISRUPTIVE ENGINEERING: At the same company, I pioneered the adoption of multi-layer PCB design, RF analysis, and reverse engineering. These initiatives expanded the team fivefold and positioned the company to engage with clients across the military and defense sectors. This strategic growth not only doubled the contract volume but also significantly boosted revenue. QUALITY OPTIMIZATION: I revamped Intuitive’s prototype realization policies and updated the approach to handling electrical counterfeit issues, material procurement, equipment calibration, and government property. By implementing these enhanced procedures and training teams, I achieved 100% compliance with CMMI and AS9100 standards, ensuring consistent regulatory adherence. KEY HIGHLIGHTS: - Strengthened the electrical counterfeit strategy and participated in GIDEP, ensuring thorough inspection documentation and reporting. - Built a high-performing team of 35+ by managing performance, setting goals, and deploying development plans with regular progress reviews. - Executed digital purchasing and property management solutions during and after COVID-19, including SharePoint for POs and a tracking system for government property. Experience

Vice President of Engineering
Madison, Alabama, United States
At MaxVision, I design rugged tactical computer systems tailored to the demanding operational needs of the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations. My work spans digital and analog circuit design, integrating high-performance computing with environmental hardening to meet MIL-STD and mission-critical reliability requirements. I collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype, validate, and deliver edge-deployable systems for air, ground, and maritime environments. My core focus is creating scalable, secure architectures capable of withstanding extreme shock, temperature, EMI, and vibration, while maintaining full computing performance and data integrity. This includes system-level design, high-speed PCB layout, power integrity analysis, and compliance with both DoD cybersecurity and export control regulations. I routinely interface with procurement and engineering counterparts to define requirements, assess component roadmaps, and manage risk in the supply chain. Notable contributions include leading electrical design and system integration on the MesaPac 8112CP, a deployable multi-screen command platform, and the MiniPac CX, a compact, high-performance solution for edge computing in SWaP-constrained environments. I also architected the SaltPac secure access laptop technology, enabling multi-domain data handling in classified and coalition operations—delivering trusted computing at the tactical edge. Electrical Engineering Program Manager
Promotion Track: Electrical Engineering Area Lead (April 2018 – April 2019); Electrical Design Engineer (May 2015 – April 2018) During my tenure here, I oversaw tech design, business development, capability growth, resource management, proposal outlining, and customer liaison. By refining policies, streamlining material acquisition, and leveraging team strengths, I successfully implemented projects. Additionally, I fostered cross-functional collaboration, nurtured team leaders, and managed the performance of five direct reports. One of my major successes here was leading and securing the technical proposal for a $10M SMDC target launcher project, focusing on power, control, and software systems. My role included shaping the design concept, developing backend software, and forming the user interface. I utilized data acquisition and position verification systems, guiding a team of over 10 SMEs throughout the project. Another success of mine was architecting a secure network infrastructure for a government agency, securing a $3M+ project to ensure data assurance for laptops in an open network. I successfully met client objectives by delivering 11 prototypes within 12 months. Additionally, I executed a $3M project for the US Navy, designing and deploying charging containers for unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs). I developed power and control systems to ensure safe charging and transportation, both onshore and offshore. Furthermore, I devised a scalable ground support test system for the Blackhawk, valued at $5M+. This solution consolidated ~10 tests into a single, automated system, streamlining both testing and reporting. By integrating the universal modular test into the firmware and developing a resalable product, I attracted interest from other aviation POs as well as other clients. Electrical Engineer P2
Promotion Track: Electrical Engineer P1 (January 2012 – May 2014) In this position, I led efficient project execution by focusing on cable harness and circuit board design, thorough bench testing, and meticulous documentation. Utilizing the Mentor Graphics Expedition design suite I accelerated the design phase by enhancing the librarian's expertise with a library management system and offering insightful feedback as a member of the circuit board review team. One of the projects I worked on here, involved sourcing the appropriate components for the Power Distribution Control Unit (PDCU) for the Commercial Crew Integration Capability (CCICap) within the Space Launch Systems (SLS). I worked closely with the EEE Parts Selection team to meet material quality guidelines, performing thermal and electrical stress analysis on electrical boards and components to ensure compliance with manufacturer ratings. Another project that I worked on was improving Boeing’s multi-mission launcher (MML) by creating an automated test set for line-replaceable units (LRUs) within the integrated weapons controller. I conducted acceptance testing to verify the functionality of control boards prior to assembly. Key Skills: Circuit Board Review & Analysis | Electronic Circuit Design | Component Engineering | Test Set Design & Integration | Quality Standard Compliance | Embedded Systems
