Implemented an environment where children could explore their imagination. Insured basic needs for younger children are taken care of (diaper changing, feeding, etc.). Expanded the children’s physical, intellectual, and developmental skills. Provided a safe and fun environment for the children to enhance social interactions between one another.

* Senior internship: * Promoted the development of new knowledge and abilities through specific departments. * Obtained feedback through skills and competencies, which were evaluated. * Provided practical experience and responsibility in operations of the Park District. * Benefited the parks and recreation profession by offering a unique work/learning environment. -Expanded proficiency of skills learned in the classroom transferred into the recreation field.

* Lily Cache Special Recreation Association: * Developed and implement a safe, secure, compassionate and fun camp environment. * Assisted individuals with everyday tasks when out in public or at the facility. * Demonstrated strong leadership and motivational skills through recreational activities while promoting positive behavior. * Assisted in planning and implementing appropriate recreation activities for all ages and capabilities.

* Junior internship: * Planned a day of recreation activities for participants in grades three through five. * Provided a safe, secure, and fun camp environment for campers to feel comfortable. * Oversaw a cabin of seven girls while building relationships with campers. * Insured that all participants were participating in various camp activities that were provided.

Activities and Societies: Parks and Recreation Society (PARS), Urban Movement, Redline Express Dance Team, Illinois State Dance Association (ISDA)
