First response to all incidents including but are not limited to fire, building collapse, rescue, medical and HAZMAT. Responsible for fire code inspections, hydrant flow testing,andcommunity presentations on fire prevention and other publicsafetyissues.

* Responsible for managing the daily operation and maintenance of the department and safetyequipment assigned to specific shift. * Manage crew members at emergency incidents. Fire School Instructor. * Shift leader and trainer in facility emergency response drills,including but are not limited to fire, medical, HAZMAT, marine spills and industrial rescue. * Client representative for Safety on Turnarounds and Area Safety in Refinery * Safe work permitting, air monitoring for hotwork permits and confined entries. * Conduct field safety audits for turnaround and routine maintenance work activity. * Participate in MOC and PSSR process aspart of CITGO PSM requirements in process locations. * Work closely with CITGO Industrial Hygiene Department when air monitoring activity for chemicals such as h2s, Benzene and SO2 may be required after an event has occurred.
