About
Education: I graduated high school with a semester of college out of the way, now I am planning to graduate in May after only 3 years spent at UMSL. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and have been awarded the deans list every semester I have taken classes. Work: I have worked on websites and web apps since high school for my father's company Mhe.net. Then in the summer of 2019, I worked full-time for Dataserv where I learned and used the Agile team methodology. Future Aspirations: I love working in mobile development. This past summer I took my first IOS development class and loved every minute of it. I hope to one day work with companies creating mobile apps for both Android and IOS.

web software developer intern
mhe.net
* While working for my father at Mhe.net, I learned HTML, C#, CSS, and JavaScript in order to accomplish various tasks. I frequently was given a task without exactly knowing how to accomplish it. When this happened, I would research and test repeatedly until I could find a solution. Some of the tasks I did while working for Mhe.net include: * Used Entity Framework to model an existing database. * Integrated java frameworks such as Angular.JS * Developed business rules around user training using C# * Created User interface with Asp.net MVC * Input validation in C# using password Regular Expressions * User Email Server manipulation using System.Mail.Client * Website structure editing * User database changes

dataserv
During my time at DataServ, I worked on many legacy projects moving older software to new solutions. I was constantly challenged with new languages and concepts which kept the work fun. I learned VBScript on the job and used it to modify and write scripts. I also used SQL Server Management quite a lot, writing stored procedures, detailing table discrepancies, and testing existing queries. Finally, most of my work was transferring older jobs from a scheduler called Opalis to a newer scheduler called Managed File Transfer by GoAnywhere. even though this was not technically writing code, I had to learn how each system operated the XML behind the scenes in order to use SQL queries and file manipulation for each job moved over. It was a great experience and I hope to work with all the kind people at DataServ again.
