jack brandwein
senior trial attorney, litigation unit
About
Since 1986, I have practiced housing law as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). My experience includes numerous years of experience as a staff attorney, supervisor, and senior trial attorney, in addition to expertise in the gamut of HUD-related housing and administrative law. My fields of expertise include all facets of fair housing and civil rights law; ethics for federal employees; labor and personnel law (including MSPB and EEOC cases, and mediation and arbitration hearings); tort claims; appropriations and procurement law; conflicts of interest involving public housing authority officials; the Freedom of Information Act, and the Privacy Act; and in general the spectrum of federal administrative legal practice with which an experienced federal attorney would be familiar.
