I am currently a senior at the University of Dayton majoring in finance and minoring in operations and supply chain management. Since i turned 16, my father made it imperative that I get a job and whether that was working at the grocery store or at my uncle's family business, Schafer Development, I was working. I attended Saint Ignatius High School and played football all four years which has taught me skills like teamwork and time management. I then decided to enroll at UD in 2015. During my time at UD I got involved with Flyer Enterprises, the fourth largest student run business in the US. I spent time as a sales associate, financial manager, and corporate accountant at this non-profit. This has been an incredible invaluable experience for me as I begin my professional career. I also became involved in the Hanley Sustainability Fund. I am apart of the Investments team (Tech Sector) and Business Operations team. Currently I am interning at PNC as a C&IB banking intern specifically in the Healthcare/Public Finance Credit Products Group, East region and learning every day.

Responsibilities include tracking monthly revenue with the division, creating monthly income statements, inventory management, and financial analysis of different data sets (Cost of goods sold, Revenue, expenses, and many more). Other responsibilities include creating financial documents for our division and presenting these documents to our CFO as well as the other managers. Ultimately, the goal as FM is to maximize profits and bring down cost of goods sold by creating efficient strategies to make the right investments in things such as marketing campaigns, resources around the division, etc.
