Experience gained in the following: * Product testing * Environmental testing * IPC certified JSTD001 in soldering * Aerospace production and testing * Basic fault finding skills * Board level testing * Some experience also gained in project management and currently undergoing an NVQ in Engineering Technical support including units in project management and resolving engineering problems.

Toolmaking apprentice firstly in the toolroom where I was taught the main engineering principles, importance of safe working practices and basic engineering skils before progressing to the tool maintenance department working on tools and ensuring their readiness for production. During this time I gained the following skills: -Core machining such as milling, turning and surface grinding -EDM, laser weld and tig welding -Conditioning, maintenance and proving of both injection mould tools and progression stamping tools -Press and mould tool setting Completed NVQ 2 & 3 in Engineering toolmaking. Experience also gained in injection moulding process enhancement, Pro Engineer CAD and Kaizen. During my time I was always aware of the importance of lean principles and their role in providing an efficient and effective manufacturing environment.
