• Oversee and manage the IT department, process, and staff providing direction and training, mentoring development, and support promotional opportunities • Develop, plan, install, test, and implement technical projects in industrial work sites for remote (site-to-site VPN) connectivity • Work with executive management to develop IT strategic and tactical plans • Manage existing vendor contracts and make appropriate adjustments • Oversee equipment and software purchases, upgrades, installations • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures • Develop and implement Mobile Device Management policy • Develop, test and implement Disaster Recovery plan • Develop, test and implement Business Continuity plan • Research, evaluate, qualify, cost justify, and prioritize Information Technology projects that produce business productivity gains • Plan, schedule, implement, and complete approved IT projects, interfacing with multiple internal and external business clients and systems • Recommend and budget for infrastructure-level hardware/software assessments • Oversee and manage NEC phone server (digital and VoIP phones across PRI and SIP) • Research advancing and future technology with emphasis on mobile applications

• Oversee and manage the IT department, projects and staff • Develop and implement IT policy, DR policy and BC policy • Strategic plan for future additions and changes • Provide monthly publically-held status reports to the Superintendent, advisory committee, and BREC Commission. • Supervise management of contract implementation and recommend equipment and software purchases, upgrades and installations • Support all network devices, servers, PCs, and other technical hardware • Create and support the 200+ user and email accounts • Setup and support the 250+ nodes in the network • Schedule and implement group policy to all users across the network • Research potential remote sites for addition to WAN and oversee provisioning • Implement software training schedule • Research advancing and future technology developments • Assess and recommend technological changes that benefit BREC • Monitor all web, e-mail and network traffic and adjust policies • Manage file, database, e-mail, active directory and web server installations and maintenance

• Provide consulting services to customers in the Information Technology field • Advise and manage department heads on purchasing the best hardware and/or software to fit their present and future needs • Provide PC, LAN, database, AS/400, and server support as needed • Install, maintain and support site-specific Pearson School Systems software on a Windows-server or AS/400 environment (ESP is a Pearson business partner) • Manage the LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, PCs and network-attached devices for the office

• Control, operate and maintain the official websites of the LSU Athletic Department (www.LSUsports.net & www.LSUsports.tv) and the official gift shop website (www.LSUtigergifts.com) • Develop, design, and create new web solutions and appearances for the website • Produce live stats for most home sporting-events • Produce streaming live audio and live video for certain events • Maintain the PCs and hardware for LSU’s Sports Information Department • Maintain the PCs that produce live audio, video, and stats for the websites • Write AP-Style stories of sporting events for the website • Catalog and update all stat files for all sports • Catalog and update all images for athletes and coaches
